Iceland luxury tours
Tell us about your dream tour to Iceland and we will make it happen. Our tours are deeply rooted in our background in Icelandic culture and created to leave you with memories for a lifetime.
Original luxury experience in the Land of Fire and Ice
In Iceland, luxury is more than admiring the phenomenal nature or soaking in a geothermal spa. It is also the closeness to the genuine core of the destination. Which connects the traveller at a deeper level to authentic experiences and activities.
We are DMC in Iceland, an authentic destination management company, specialising in bespoke tours of Iceland. Our aim is to create one-of-a-kind adventures where magic happens, using our local expertise and insights.
Each journey we plan is with the clients wishes in mind and promises thrilling adventure and unique experiences. Whether heading off in a private helicopter tour, viewing the land from above, scooting over the ice in a private snowmobile adventure, Heli-skiing in the late winter or simply choosing a more leisure like holiday, each one is equally important to us and we put our pride and joy creating magical moments for our clients.

Services
The service is provided for private tours (one-day departures from Reykjavik), private multi-day tours and regular tours.
We offer regular departure, with a professional English speaking guide
We also have Spanish-, French-, and Portuguese-speaking guides, but it is necessary to request them in advance since our regular tours normally have English-speaking guides to serve everyone.
There is no minimum.
We offer a self-drive driving itinerary.
We don't really need a minimum time to book as we collaborate with selective tour operators who own their own vehicles and have our own guides working for us and further access to a large network of high quality guides.
This is very difficult to estimate as it depends on the type of car, the season, the price and the type of hotel and also the type of activities.
We can create an itinerary including both Norway, Finland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands. We can also help with trips to Sweden and Tallin in Estonia.
This is a great idea for a big Scandinavian tour. Visiting the fjords in Norway, the Lapland area in Sweden or western Finland is a good combination. We can also create a tour that includes Greenland with Iceland or the Faroe Islands.
Before Travelling
We recommend it all year round. However, this largely depends on what you would like to see or experience. The summer months, from mid-June to mid-September, are the high season in Iceland. September is a good month to visit, for example, as the season has begun to slow down and the northern lights season begins in mid-September. October is another good month to travel, as the weather is usually great before it starts to snow. May is the only quiet month in Iceland.
The best tour length to see the entire country is between 10 and 14 days. The ideal would be to be able to include all corners of the country. 7-10 days is a very common length of stay and you get to see a lot.
The Northern Lights season runs from mid-August to late April. We often recommend March as the prettiest month for Northern Lights hunting, as you have a better chance of seeing more colours, not just blue and green, but also purple and pink.
This is a difficult question to answer, it depends on the type of hotels and activities and whether the tour would include an overnight stay outside of Reykjavik or not.
It is better that you give us an idea of your budget and we customise the tour according to your budget.

Accommodation
Precautions for travels in Iceland
Yes, we can book triple rooms. However, most hotels have limited availability for triple bookings. Depending on the age of the child, in most places an extra bed or cot can be added if necessary.
Yes, there are few of those in Iceland and we can absolutely recommend them. However, they are not 5 or 4 star accommodation, but the experience is recommended.
Hotels in Iceland follow a high standard, both in relation to services provided, quality of food offered and cleanliness.
There are many 4 star hotels and less, but only one five star hotel in Reykjavik at the moment and two outside Reykjavik. One at the Blue Lagoon and one in south Iceland.
Our recommendation is to always take precautions. If you are an experienced driver, even in snow, driving until the end of November is not necessarily dangerous if the conditions are good. This may depend on the destination. Driving to the Westfjords is always a little more complicated as the road passes through a higher mountain. Icelanders drive these roads daily all year round, except during yellow or red weather warnings.
The volcanic eruptions have not affected tourism in any way, except for the closure of the Blue Lagoon and its hotels from time to time.
The international airport is located in Keflavik, a 45-minute drive from Reykjavik. There is an airport in Akureyri in the north, but there are no international flights scheduled yet. The national airport is located at the centre of Reykjavik and offers flights to all corners of the country. There are a few other smaller airlines nearby.
There are no trains in Iceland. There is a good network of buses running daily to the countryside from Reykjavik and some destinations with multiple departures.
